It makes sense to reduce the levels of nociception out there in our bodies .
So reduce nociception by:
- Allowing the tissues to heal and resolving inflammation
- Loading optimally and variably
- Functioning optimally
- Strengthening the tissues so that you’re less likely to strain them
Some short term relievers which may affect nociception are painkillers, ice or hot packs, physical therapy, physical activity, self-massage.
